Post: Due to increasing pupil numbers, we are expanding our therapy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly professional Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, ideally with experience in special needs, to join our dynamic team as soon as possible. About the department: We are a large multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Literacy and Numeracy tutors. The department has a growing national reputation and is committed to professional development. Training is provided within school during our comprehensive in-service training programme and regularly throughout the term. Attendance at relevant external training courses or central excellence networks (CENs) is encouraged.
The School: More House School provides an exceptional, mainstream education for boys with Speech, Language and Communication Disorders, Specific Learning Difficulties and related SEND needs. The school, recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted over more than a decade, offers a specialised learning environment for 490 day and boarding boys from Year 4 to Year 13. Our pupils are academically able and take a range of GCSE, BTEC and A-Level courses.
