Contract and Hours of Work:

Term-time contract, 36 weeks per year, 40 hours per week.

Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Chefs with lunch preparation
• Responsible for washing pots and heavy duty items, and to assist with the dishwasher when necessary
• Put cleaned items away in their correct place
• Assist set up of the dining room and in service as required
• Assist in the cleaning of the dining room and kitchen floors after service, and store rooms in the afternoon
• Assist in cleaning and providing support making hot beverages in the school coffee trailer as required
• Maintain the required levels of hygiene in line with Health and Safety regulations
• Perform additional tasks as needed by the Head Chef or Domestic Services Manager
