This leading HMC co-educational school seeks to appoint a Food & Nutrition Intern to join the enthusiastic and professional support team.

The Food & Nutrition Intern supports the teaching staff and technician by preparing ingredients and materials, assisting with lessons, and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment. This role also involves supporting pupils in lessons with their culinary skills, maintaining equipment and supplies, and contributing to departmental activities and administrative tasks.

The Food & Nutrition Intern position is ideal for someone with experience working in a commercial kitchen and chef qualifications or for someone taking a gap year and considering a career in teaching.

The position is available as a full-time, term-time, fixed-term appointment from November 2024 to 3 July 2025. The working hours will be Monday to Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The salary will be in the range of £16,581 and £19,059 per annum pro-rata subject to qualifications and experience (based on an FTE of £22,369 and £25,713 per annum).
