We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our happy team of teaching assistants, especially in the Prep School. The successful candidate will be supporting in core subject lessons of English, Mathematics and Science from Year 4 – 8.
The role is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and energetic person to develop their skills and knowledge of good practice and provide classroom support. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, supportive and dynamic who is willing to work closely with class teachers to help pupils fulfil their potential.

Bilton Grange is a happy, flourishing and successful Prep School set in 90 acres of beautiful grounds just south of Rugby. In 2020 it merged with Rugby School and is now part of the Rugby School Group. Pupil numbers have never been higher. In September 2024 there were over 380 boys and girls, boarding and day, in the school aged between 3 and 13 and the school’s distinguished history is continuing to evolve. In August 2022 we opened Little Grange Nursery, placing a further 80 children under our watchful care and guidance. We have four well-equipped Science labs in a dedicated building, two of which have been newly refurbished and modernised over the last couple of years. The remaining two will be done as part of a rolling programme. We are currently amidst a significant building development, including a new boarding house with a large dining room, that will enhance the provision at the School for all pupils.
Whilst previous experience of boarding schools is not a pre-requisite, applicants should be aware of the busy term-time existence that working here involves and be open-minded as to how such a learning community is at its most effective by everyone contributing wholeheartedly to supervision, activities outside the classroom and school trips. The school is committed to providing a first-class working environment for its staff; using a staff centred Professional Development Review system for regular opportunities of reflection and development. The School benefits from outstanding operational and administrative support, has a very collegiate common room and a healthy collaboration with colleagues at Rugby School. The Head has been in post since September 2021.
