After a long and successful tenure, our current Headmaster, Justin Chippendale, will be leaving the role at the end of the next academic year (August 2025) taking on a new position as King’s College’s Director of International Schools. Working closely with governors and staff, he has led King’s College Prep School superbly through a great deal of change and improvement.

The School Council now seeks to appoint an outstanding candidate, starting in September 2025, to provide strong academic, pastoral and strategic leadership, ensuring a happy and dynamic school which continues to strive for excellence in all areas. Reporting directly to the Executive Head of King’s College, Michael Sloan, this is an exciting and rare opportunity for an exceptional leader to take the Prep School forward, building on the success of recent years.
