St Helen's is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced self-employed VMT to teach individual Cello lessons to students of all levels from September 2024. Teaching is likely to be timetabled over two days per week.

Detail

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced self-employed visiting music teacher (VMT) to teach Cello from September 2024. Teaching is likely to be timetabled over two days per week during the school term and will involve providing individual music lessons to students, including encouragement of performance opportunities and participation in ensembles. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified to teach and motivate students of all levels. This is an opportunity to be part of a busy and vibrant music department. In addition, there may be the possibility of some ensemble coaching for the right candidate; this will be employed work for one or two 40 minute periods per week.

All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
