Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Librarian to play a key role managing the library at Streatham & Clapham High School.

Detail

You will play a crucial role in fostering a love of reading and learning among students, managing the library’s resources and supporting the academic curriculum.

You will inspire and advise our students from Year 7 upwards with book clubs, special library events, study skills sessions and more. Fundamental to your work is a strong relationship with Heads of Department and the pastoral team to ensure that the library is meeting the needs of the staff and students.

There are opportunities to work closely with departments on curriculum activities, but also themed events, visiting speakers and assemblies.

Previous experience as a librarian is essential. You will also enjoy working closely with people to see tasks through to completion and be prepared to take responsibility and use initiative in key areas.
