This is a freelance role, the post holder will be self-employed, but will need to liaise with the Head of Music with regards hours required. The role is available from 1st September 2024.

The Piano teacher is part of a large team of peripatetic staff offering tuition in a diverse range of instruments including percussion, harp, strings, brass, woodwind and keyboard. Musical tuition is offered to all girls at the school (from age 7-18).

The successful person will also be expected to attend our ‘Manchester Sings’ event, also prepare for and attend an informal recital evening alongside other instrumental staff and when possible, support other musical events at Withington, both concerts and composition workshops/recordings.
