Summary

Brighton College Prep Handcross is seeking an outstanding, inspiring and strategic Head of Learning Support to lead our well-established Learning Enrichment provision.

Detail

This is a key leadership role within a well-resourced and experienced team. The successful candidate will lead SEND provision and work closely with established coordinators for EAL, AGT and SEMH, providing clear strategic oversight to ensure a cohesive and ambitious whole-school approach to inclusion.

We are looking for a SENDCo with intellectual curiosity, warmth and exacting standards, who is committed to excellence in inclusive education. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of neuroscience-informed practice, executive functioning and metacognition, ensuring every pupil is supported to thrive and achieve exceptional outcomes.

The school is very well-resourced to meet the vast majority of pupil needs internally, with formal EHCP processes only very rarely required. This is a significant opportunity to lead and further develop provision within a forward-thinking, highly supportive independent prep school environment.
