Bury Grammar School - Visiting Music Teacher - Piano

Summary

An experienced Visiting Music Teacher (Piano) is required on a 3-day a week, part-time basis. This is a freelance role; the post-holder will be self-employed.

Detail

Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the post holder will be responsible for:

· Teaching and ensuring learning of the playing of the piano.

· Supporting with the planning and delivery of shows and events.

· Invoicing parents in a timely manner, collecting fees, and organising a teaching schedule.

· Communicating efficiently, accurately and courteously with parents, pupils and colleagues about piano lessons.

· To liaise with Music staff regarding examinations and events.

· To liaise with the Directors of Music and keep them informed of pupils’ progress and teaching or administrative issues.
