Caldicott is one of the country’s most prestigious Independent Boarding and Day Preparatory Schools for Boys. We are a flourishing school with around 250 boys from 7 to 13 years old, with a five-day week in Year 3 & Year 4 and Saturday School from Year 5, with Flexi Boarding (Years 3 – 6), Weekly, Full Boarding or Day Plus options (Years 7 & 8). We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager within our small Finance team. This is a key role, responsible for the management of the Schools’ financial systems and processes, supporting and deputising for the Director of Finance and Operations on financial matters. You will prepare budgets, forecasts and ancillary information for the Governor’s Finance Sub-Committee and Council, reporting to and working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations and supported by the Finance Officer. This role is vital in providing a positive and professional financial service to the School.

The successful candidate will:

· hold a professional qualification in finance / accounting;

· be financially, technically and IT literate;

· have experience of effective financial management, budgeting and reporting;

· be a committed team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and

· have sound judgement and a fair and calm approach.
