Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager you will have hands on practical experience of general maintenance, ideally gained in a school, university, FE College or NHS environment.
The post holder will be comfortable managing high volumes of reactive work such as furniture repairs and minor building maintenance tasks. They will also be required to assist the team’s skilled maintenance personnel in their work, including plumbing repairs.
Experience is more important than formal qualifications for this role but you must have good written and verbal communication skills; be confident using hand and small power tools and comfortable working at height.
