We are looking for a looking for a Multi Skilled Porter, someone who would like to join our Portering team, but who can also assist in other Domestic Operations areas, such as Cleaning and Laundry when required.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Multiskilled Porter to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our school by providing portering, logistical services.
Duties will include such tasks as the daily collection and delivery of laundry; the setting up and taking down of equipment, furniture and signage for events and functions; collection and delivery of goods and parcels around the site and providing a transport and porterage service for off-site events. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role as you will be required to drive school vehicles.
We are also looking for someone who is flexible and will be willing to work in our Cleaning and Laundry teams will be part of your expeced duties from time to time, supporting the Domestic Operations wider team.
Normal hours of work are 07:30 to 16:00 with one hour lunch break (unpaid) . The working pattern is 5 out of 7 days, working alternate weekends.
