We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team, to ensure all pots, pans and cooking equipment placed in the pot wash area are properly and hygienically cleaned, rinsed, dried and re-stacked.
£15.44 per hour
37.5 hours per week, predominantly 08:00-16:00 shifts but evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts will be required according to the needs of the College. Additional paid overtime hours will also be required at peak times.
Our busy Catering Department serves lunch to more than 1,500 pupils and staff each day, in addition to providing breakfast and supper for our 130 boarding pupils. We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to play an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchens.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Previous experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
