Eastbourne College is seeking exceptional administrators to join our Admissions team.
As an Admissions Assistant, you will provide outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day administration of the admissions process across Eastbourne College and St Andrew's Prep. You will work closely with prospective families, supporting them throughout the admissions journey and helping to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for applicants.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, together with strong digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. You will be proactive, approachable and enjoy working as part of a collaborative, customer-focused frontline team.
Previous administrative and/or customer service experience is essential, while experience within school admissions, iSAMS or the independent education sector would be advantageous.
Salary: £13.74 hourly rate
Hours: Normal hours will be 20 hours per week, preferably 1pm to 5pm each weekday to suit business needs, but the specific hours can be discussed with the Director of Admissions at interview.
The Admissions Assistant is required to work term-time plus six weeks (39 weeks total).
Additional ‘out of hours’ events may require occasional attendance and time off in lieu (which can be taken during St Andrew’s/College holidays) will be given.
