Job Title: Content Marketing and Multimedia Producer

Hours of Work: Full time (37.5 hours per week). Some evening and weekend working required

Based: Primarily at Eltham College, but working a minimum of one day per week at Blackheath Prep.

The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools seeks to appoint a creative and ambitious Content Marketing and Multimedia Producer, who will bring storytelling excellence to its Family of Schools, drawing on strong narrative instincts to create compelling content across multiple media strands. Though eminently capable of producing professional long-form video or a well-written news article, your superpower is your ability to fit the medium to the need: to know when an infographic will be better than words, or when animation will transform engagement with a social media post. This hybrid role bridges the gap between visual production and written journalism, and will suit an enthusiastic, adaptable and multi-skilled candidate with a particular passion for broadcast media, in all its forms.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you'll become part of a team with expertise in design, branding, photography, campaigns and digital marketing, events, forward planning and data analysis and, as a consummate team player, you'll be inspired by the chance to create truly market-leading work through collaboration.

Eltham College is a highly successful independent day school in south-east London, educating boys and girls aged 7 to 18 across both Junior and Senior Schools. The College has grown considerably over recent years: there are now over 800 students in the Senior School and around 260 pupils in the Junior School and places are heavily oversubscribed. Since 2020, girls have been able to join Years 3 and 7, mirroring the Sixth Form which has been coeducational for over 45 years. The school places an equal emphasis on academic, pastoral and co-curricular excellence and has an outstanding reputation in all three areas as well as for the friendly, unpretentious nature of daily life.

Whilst a practitioner with significant appropriate professional experience would be our ideal candidate (and a competitive salary, commensurate with such experience, is offered), we are committed to developing new talent, and applications are also welcome from ambitious, creative recent graduates in an appropriate field. Training and exposure to the full range of marketing skills will be given in this case to kickstart an early-stage marketing career: skills which are entirely transferable to brands and sectors beyond education.
