Hours: 37.5 per week, all year (possibility of reduced weeks outside term time, TBC). Some evening and weekend work.
Location: Based primarily in Eltham College, but working a minimum of one day per week at Blackheath Prep.

The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools is seeking to appoint an Events and Scheduling officer to work in the Marketing and Communications Team, providing the administrative and co-ordination ‘glue’ which draws together the key specialisms of this busy department to ensure timely, cost-effective and cohesive delivery of all activity, to the highest standards.
Alongside its scheduling and co-ordination responsibilities, the role will manage the planning and execution of our schedule of vibrant marketing events, such as Open Days and Visitor Mornings, briefing and co-ordinating all involved parties to ensure the delivery of outstanding customer and visitor experiences.
The Department
The Marketing and Communications team is vital to the delivery of the overall vision, aims and strategic objectives of the Eltham College Family of Schools (currently comprising Eltham College, Eltham College Junior School, and Blackheath Prep), playing a key role in ensuring that ours are the schools of first choice in our region. The team's core objective is to build the schools' reputation and profile, raising awareness and interest to drive pupil recruitment and celebrating the exceptional experience our schools provide to delight both our existing community and prospective families. The team currently comprises a Digital Marketing Officer, a Designer and Visual Content Officer, and an Editorial and Marketing Officer, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Eltham College is a highly successful, co-educational independent day school in south-east London, educating boys and girls aged 7 to 18 across its Junior and Senior Schools. Blackheath Prep, which is situated a short distance to the north of the College and educates boys and girls aged 3 to 11, joined the Eltham Family in 2023. The College and Family have grown considerably over recent years: there are now over 1400 pupils across the three schools, and places are heavily oversubscribed. Eltham places an equal emphasis on academic, pastoral and co-curricular excellence and has an outstanding reputation in all three areas, as well as for the friendly, unpretentious nature of daily life.
