Job Title: Receptionist (Senior School)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (1300-1830)

Term time only (35 weeks) plus 25 days to be worked during school holidays (9-2pm) as outlined in the application pack

Reports to: Office Manager

Start Date: 27 August 2025

The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College family of schools seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Receptionist to the Senior School at Eltham College.

This position will provide a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for all callers both by telephone and in person. Also, to assist in the smooth running of the school office by fulfilling appropriate administrative duties

Eltham College is a highly successful independent day school in south-east London, educating boys and girls aged 7 to 18 across both Junior and Senior Schools. There are now around 1,080 students at Eltham College and Eltham College Junior School. After accepting girls into the Sixth Form for more than 40 years, in September 2020 it also opened Years 3 and 7 to girls, and in September 2024 became fully co-educational, with girls now in every year group. Eltham College and Blackheath Prep merged in September 2023 to create the Eltham College Family of Schools.
