Forest Prep School is seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Art & Design Associate to join its team. This role offers a distinctive opportunity for recent master’s-level graduates in art or practising artists with a passion for working with young people to bring their creativity into a vibrant educational setting. We are looking for someone who is ready to push boundaries, challenge conventions and encourage pupils to explore art in its boldest and most expressive forms.
At Forest Prep, we value the transformative power of creativity. The successful candidate will be encouraged to bring ambitious ideas to life, fostering an environment where experimentation and freedom of expression are at the heart of the art curriculum. From abstract concepts to collaborative installations, we believe that giving pupils the confidence to take risks in their artistic endeavours is key to developing creative independence.
The Art & Design Associate will work closely with pupils and staff, delivering stimulating and thought-provoking lessons that inspire a love of art. They will help lead innovative projects culminating in the School’s annual art exhibition, celebrating both the pupils’ work and the creative journeys behind it.
The successful candidate will also support colleagues in delivering engaging art lessons and contribute to the co-curricular programme. This role celebrates innovation, imagination and the freedom to think differently: an opportunity for an artist to make a meaningful contribution to education while developing their own practice.
