Senior Driver

Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We have a co-educational community of over 500 students aged from 6-18, who are predominantly full boarding and are drawn from over 40 countries.

We are looking for a permanent Senior Driver to join our Transport team. Our Senior Driver will oversee and provide support to our team of permanent and bank drivers, take on some fleet management responsibilities, and ensure clear lines of communication are maintained with teams across the school. You will also support staff driver familiarisation and carry out some driving tasks.

You will have staff supervision experience, a proven safe driving record, basic mechanical knowledge to carry out routine vehicle checks and good IT skills. You will have experience of taking the initiative and working independently. You will be a strong team player, enthusiastic, positive, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to support the safe and efficient delivery of our transport service on behalf of the school. You will work 37.5 hours per week.

D1 driving licence (up to 16 passenger seats)
