We are seeking an outstanding Head Netball Coach. We anticipate appointing a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and committed sports specialist, with first-rate interpersonal skills, energy, high expectations and the ability to work well and communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents.

Candidates for the position should be willing to contribute fully to the sporting life of the school. This will include coaching teams beyond normal school hours including a significant number of Saturdays. The individual will be highly motivated and fully prepared to undertake the demands of working in one of the UK’s leading independent co-educational day and boarding schools.

Position Title: Head Netball Coach

Contract: 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent

Working Pattern: Weekly timetable and hours will be agreed with the Director of Sport. Includes Saturday fixtures. Occasional evening, holiday or travel commitments may be required for special events with advance notice.

Start: January 2026

Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience and organisation pay scale)

The Head Netball Coach is responsible for leading, developing, and delivering a high-quality netball programme alongside the Head of Netball. This role combines coaching excellence with organisational leadership to ensure athletes of all levels are supported, challenged, and inspired. The Head Netball Coach oversees coaching strategy, team development, match preparation, and the progression of players across the programme from Year 7 to 13, but may also include the Junior School. This role requires a passionate and knowledgeable coach who is available for after-school training sessions and Saturday matches or tournaments throughout the season.
