As a visiting singing teacher, you will teach individual vocal lessons, and guide students in developing their singing technique. You will be responsible for creating a fun and inspiring environment where students can explore their vocal potential, improve their skills, and experience the joy of choral music.
Responsibilities
Teach individual and small group vocal lessons, catering to students of various skill levels.
Develop customised lesson plans based on student needs, ensuring vocal development and technique improvement.
Write biannual reports on student progress and communicate feedback to parents and staff.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment to build students’ confidence and love for singing.
Collaborate with the school to prepare students for performances, concerts, and other musical events.
To attend an annual Instrumental Open Evening designed to promote interest in the singing amongst current and new pupils.
What we’re looking for
A skilled and experienced vocal teacher with a strong foundation in singing and choral direction.
Experience in teaching both individual vocal lessons and leading choirs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write detailed reports on student progress.
Ability to inspire and motivate students in both individual lessons and group settings.
Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and coordinate with the school on choir activities and performances.
A patient, nurturing approach to teaching with a passion for fostering musical talent.
