You will be responsible for creating a fun and inspiring environment where students can explore their vocal potential, improve their skills, and experience the joy of choral music.

Responsibilities

 Teach individual and small group vocal lessons, catering to students of various skill levels.

 Develop customised lesson plans based on student needs, ensuring vocal development and technique improvement.

 Write biannual reports on student progress and communicate feedback to parents and staff.

 Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment to build students’ confidence and love for singing.

 Collaborate with the school to prepare students for performances, concerts, and other musical events.

 To attend an annual Instrumental Open Evening designed to promote interest in the singing amongst current and new pupils.

What we’re looking for

 A skilled and experienced vocal teacher with a strong foundation in singing and choral direction.

 Experience in teaching both individual vocal lessons and leading choirs.

 Strong communication skills, with the ability to write detailed reports on student progress.

 Ability to inspire and motivate students in both individual lessons and group settings.

 Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and coordinate with the school on choir activities and performances.

 A patient, nurturing approach to teaching with a passion for fostering musical talent.
