Responsibilities
Keep all medical records accurate and up-to-date including (but not limited to)
Working Hours: TERM TIME ONLY
Friday 17:00 until 23:00
Saturday 08:30 until 23:00
Sunday 08:30 until 23:00
Monday 17:00 until 23:00
Leave Tuesday at 08:30
During each day, there will be a 2-hour general break, plus a 30-minute breakfast, 1-hour lunch, and 30-minute dinner break.
Maintain detailed student records (medical, immunisations, incidents, reports etc.) with particular attention to the confidentiality, privacy and sensitivity of issues.
Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the Safeguarding requirements within the area of responsibility. Work complies with all safeguarding policies and procedures that apply to the role. Behaviours and actions support the safeguarding of children and young people as appropriate.

The role of the Boarding Houseparent involves significant contact with children and young people (frequent interaction and responsibility for their welfare) and includes engaging in regulated activity. The safeguarding responsibilities of the post include:

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
