Kew College Prep is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Bursar & Clerk to the Governors, to join our successful and vibrant school.

We are a small and supportive school with a community feel and an active parent population. The school is co-educational for children from Nursery to Year 6.

Our school was established in 1927 and is in a split site in the heart of Kew, Southwest London. We have invested significantly in our premises to ensure that we have pleasant, safe and varied facilities for our children.

The school has a welcoming and collaborative ethos and has a highly engaged and committed staff community, who ensure that the children's needs are always the priority. The Bursar & Clerk to the Governors will report primarily to the Head and also to the Chair of Governors. The role forms part of the Senior leadership team and will contribute to the school’s strategy development, as well as being involved and contributing towards the day-to-day operational functions.

The role will manage the financial and business affairs of the school, compliance, human resources, support functions and lead the school’s support staff.

The salary will be reflective of qualifications and experience, with potential candidates being:

· educated to degree level or equivalent

· hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

· experience of administration management and people leadership
