An exciting opportunity has arisen within Kimbolton School to recruit a People Officer to join our HR Team.

We’re looking for a confident, practical People Officer to provide advice and support to managers across the School on a wide range of people matters, including employee relations, attendance, performance, recruitment and development.

This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with managers to solve problems, provide practical advice and support positive outcomes, while also helping us improve our approach to people management and the employee experience.

Working alongside the HR Manager and HR Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator, you’ll bring sound judgement, confidence and a solutions-focused approach to a busy and rewarding role.

Is it essential that the successful candidate has previous proven HR experience in a busy generalist HR role, with knowledge of employment law and its application. Experience of working in a school or educational environment and using iTrent is desirable, but not essential.

This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, for 52 weeks position. Consideration may be given for applicants who would be interested to work 30 hours per week for 52 weeks.
