Are you a caring and qualified nurse looking for a rewarding role in a school setting? Join our school community as a Nurse to play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and happiness of young minds.
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team at the King's School Canterbury Health Centre. Shadow shifts will be arranged to allow for induction to the role.
Reporting to the Senior Nurse/Health Centre Manager, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing medical services to all pupils and in addition members of staff and any school visitors on site if the need arises. Ensuring availability for pupil consultations over the 24-hour period; Providing confidential support to pupils and staff and other health advice as appropriate; Promoting health education throughout the school population; Providing and offering education on sexual health matters; Maintaining accurate, confidential and contemporaneous medical records.
This role would be suitable for a qualified experienced Nurse.
