The Senior Theatre Technician supports the Technical & Production Manager in the safe and effective delivery of technical operations across all theatre activities. As the second-in-command within the technical team, the post-holder will lead on productions when the Technical Manager is unavailable, take ownership of a specialist discipline (e.g., lighting, sound), and contribute to a high standard of service for both school and commercial events.
The role includes mentoring junior staff and students, coordinating day-to-day operations, and supporting planning, compliance, and resource management.
