The King's School, Canterbury is seeking to appoint an inspiring and intellectually curious Teacher of Psychology to join our thriving Sixth Form department from September 2026.

Psychology is a popular and academically rigorous subject at King's, taught through the AQA specification to highly motivated pupils who are eager to learn and engage critically with contemporary psychological research. We are looking for a teacher who can bring energy, enthusiasm and scholarly passion to the classroom, fostering intellectual curiosity and a genuine love of the subject.

The successful candidate will teach Psychology to Years 12 and 13 and will contribute fully to the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of this busy and vibrant boarding school. The ability to teach an additional subject, particularly Biology, would be advantageous.

Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and those considering a move into teaching from an academic or professional background. A formal teaching qualification is not essential, although a willingness to work towards one is required.
