The King's School, Worcester is seeking an individual with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills to take on the role of Registrar (Lower Years) to ensure continuity for our Admissions team during a period of maternity cover.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the 11+ and 12+ entry admissions and application process to our Lower Years, from point of initial enquiry through to enrolment.

Working alongside the Registrar for Middle Years and Sixth Form, across all aspects of the Foundation’s admissions process and pipeline management, the postholder will strive to optimise the conversion of enquiries from external applicants, as well as overseeing the smooth transition of Year Six pupils from our two Prep Schools, King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s.

This is a fixed term maternity cover role, anticipated to commence at the end of January 2026, 30 hours per week to be worked across a minimum of 4 days, year-round.

We're looking for applicants who can demonstrate:

  • A warm and engaging personality with a genuine enthusiasm for meeting people
  • First rate administration and IT skills, and an eye for detail
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role in the service sector, preferably in sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary: An annual salary of £24,000 - £27,500 depending on experience (based on working 30 hours per week, year round)

Working pattern: The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, year-round
