Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to join a nurturing, award-winning Nursery? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly and supportive nursery team at King’s St Alban’s Prep School Nursery.

King’s St Alban’s Nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment. We are proud to provide a ‘family feel’ setting to ensure children gain the stability needed to develop confidence and independence as they start their school journey. Our team of hugely committed practitioners love making sure that our children are greeted warmly on arrival and encouraged to participate in a variety of activities.

The Role

Duties will include:

Providing a caring and stimulating environment for the children, in line with EYFS guidelines
Fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their learning journeys
Being proactive in matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, and health and safety.

What We’re Looking For

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting and as part of a team
An approachable, friendly and caring nature
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Working pattern This role is fixed term until 31st December 2025. 30 hours per week, ideally 12 - 6pm, Monday to Friday, year-round.
