The King’s School, Worcester wishes to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Physical Education on a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. We are seeking a teaching professional with both integrity and compassion to contribute to our busy and successful PE department. We invite applications from well-qualified and ambitious teachers.

We're looking for applicants who can demonstrate:

Successful teaching experience of PE at KS3 and KS4
The ability to cater for learners of different types and abilities, maintaining class interest to maximise learning
Knowledge, experience and understanding of player development
The ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism with staff, pupils, parents and other stakeholders at all times
A history of working with high level performers would be beneficial.

Working pattern and contract: This is a part-time role, 0.3 to 0.5. Fixed term maternity cover, commencing at the start of February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
