We are seeking a highly organised and professional Clerk to Governors (Governance Lead) to play a pivotal role in supporting the work of the Kingswood Foundation's Governing Body.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the strategic life of the School, providing independent and confidential advice and administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees. Working closely with the Chair of Governors, Governors, the Principal and senior leaders, you will help ensure robust governance practices that meet with legal, regulatory and best-practice requirements.

You will coordinate the governance calendar, prepare agendas and meeting papers, attend meetings, produce high-quality minutes, maintain governance records and support governor recruitment, induction and development. The successful candidate will be trusted with sensitive information and will demonstrate discretion, sound judgement and exceptional attention to detail.
This position would suit an experienced governance professional or clerk with excellent administration, organisational and communication skills, and an understanding of effective governance practice. Experience within education, charity or other regulated environments would be advantageous.
This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, term time only plus four additional weeks. Flexibility will be required, as some Governing Body and committee meetings take place outside normal working hours. Salary will be dependent on experience.
