We are currently seeking to fill the position of Teaching Assistant.

Detail

We are looking for two teaching assistants. One post is to cover a period of maternity leave, full-time, term-time and the second post is part-time (hours can be discussed), term-time.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, inspiring and versatile, who will work to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and supervision of the class teachers. This role presents an opportunity to motivate young people to develop confidence in their own independent learning and resilience.

Ideally candidates will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work to deadlines, as well as excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in school, with primary aged children or holding a First Aid Certificate could be an advantage. Our Teaching Assistants will be passionate about pupil's learning and well-being.

Our Teaching Assistants must

• Hold a related education qualification (e.g. teaching assistant qualification)
• Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff, parent and pupil relationships
• Possess the ability and commitment to work creatively to ensure that children develop as happy, motivated, independent learners
• Be committed to children's social, academic, emotional and physical development
• Have an understanding of safeguarding
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.
