We are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving and highly successful Mathematics Department. The candidate appointed will have impressive subject knowledge and a desire to be part of a team of committed professionals within the Department and the whole school.
The Role and Department:
The Mathematics Department currently consists of eleven teachers.
IGCSE is taken at the end of Fifth Form, with the top two sets also taking Further Maths. At A Level pupils are offered Maths and Further Maths.
Maths remains the most popular option at A Level with approximately 50% of the Sixth Form choosing it as an option. The Department has enjoyed significant examination successes.
The Department has eight well-equipped classrooms and a shared office with personal workspace and storage and computing facilities. Each classroom has a networked computer with Internet access, an interactive whiteboard and a range of teaching software.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
