Role Title: Teaching of English

Location: Repton Preparatory School

Contract Type:  Full time, temporary for the purposes of providing cover for Maternity Leave.

Salary: Repton Prep Salary Scale. Commensurate with skills and experience.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Teacher of English (Maternity Cover), who is an outstanding classroom practitioner with the skills and experience to deliver first class teaching and outcomes for our pupils.

The Teacher of English will be required to teach Years 5-8 and may have the opportunity to teach other areas of the curriculum, depending on skills and experience.

A willingness to be involved in all aspects of day-to-day life in a busy boarding prep school is essential. All staff are involved in the close pastoral care of our pupils, and the role will report directly to the Head of English, the Deputy Head Academic, and ultimately the Head.

The role is required from January or April 2026 and we invite applications from both experienced Teachers and those that may be new to the profession.
