Access Arrangements Coordinator
(34.5 hours/week)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and compassionate individual to join our highly regarded Learning Support Department at the Royal Grammar School. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the educational experience and outcomes of students with learning differences, within a thriving and supportive school community.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our SEN students from Years 3 to 13, helping them to develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally. Working closely with students and teachers, you will provide tailored support through one-to-one interventions, small group teaching, study skills development, and lesson recommendations.
Alongside supporting student learning, you will take responsibility for coordinating the documentation required to process exam access arrangements for GCSE and A Level examinations, ensuring compliance with current JCQ regulations. This aspect of the role involves working closely with our Exams Office to ensure that appropriate arrangements are identified, implemented, and administered accurately and consistently in both internal and external examinations.
The Learning Support Department is a vibrant, busy, and highly respected team that sits at the heart of the school's commitment to enabling every student to achieve their full potential. You will join a collaborative team of dedicated professionals and work closely with, and report to, the Head of Learning Support (SENDCo).

Hours/Contract: Permanent contract. 34.5 hours per week during term time, worked over 5 days (Monday to Friday). 2 of the 5 working days will be half a day (specific days/times will be agreed with the successful candidate).The normal core working hours for this role will be as follows: 8.30am - 4.30pm on full days. Start and end times on the half days will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Salary: In the region of 39k gross per annum (Full Time Equivalent). As this role is part-time (i.e., 34.5 hours per week/ 0.73) and term-time only, the salary will be pro-rata’d to in the region of 28.5k gross per annum.
