Experienced Speech & Drama Teacher required from September 2025 to support students in Years 3 - 8 wishing to study for LAMDA exams
We are seeking an experienced and talented speech and drama teacher from September 2025 to join a dynamic and exciting Performing Arts Faculty, supporting students wishing to study for LAMDA exams.
Responsibilities will be to teach speech and drama to small groups of students, from Years 3 - 8 with an expectation that this would equate to 3 days per week (60% FTE) to begin with. There may be scope to increase the FTE status subject to demand and/or to contribute further to the co-curricular programme.
The teacher would be expected to organise Speech and Drama Showcase events and exam dates. Alongside speech and drama teaching, there will also be opportunities to support in the delivery of school year group performances at certain times of year.
The successful applicant will be expected to monitor, record and report on students' progress, ensuring students of all abilities are encouraged and challenged in equal measure.
