We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated qualified Accountant to join the Bursary team and play a key role in managing the school’s financial operations. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, a natural enthusiasm and flexibility to engage across a broad variety of activities.
This is a fixed term position until December 2026 but there is scope for a permanent position, around department growth and succession plan. The post holder will report directly to the Bursar. This a part-time position (40% term time plus) but there is flexibility on the working pattern.
St Hugh's is a highly regarded coeducational day and boarding school with 350 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 40 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford. In June 2025, the Headmaster and Governors announced that St Hugh’s would be opening a Senior School in September 2026. It is a very exciting time to be joining St Hugh’s.
