St Joseph’s School, a thriving independent day school in Cornwall, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher with the flexibility and willingness to contribute to the Humanities Department.

The successful candidate will have a passion for Physical Education and a strong commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle among pupils across the school. In addition, they will demonstrate the versatility and subject knowledge to support the delivery of Humanities subjects, particularly at Key Stage 3.
The ideal candidate will be expected to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to children with a range of abilities across both the Junior and Senior School. They will be expected to promote health, fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes through sport and physical activity, contribute to the wider life of the PE department, including extracurricular clubs, events, and competitions, support the teaching of Humanities (e.g., Geography, History, RE or Worldviews), as required by the timetable, Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and enriching curriculum, and foster a positive and respectful learning environment that supports pupils’ academic and personal development.
