We are seeking a caring and proactive Playground and Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at Surbiton High Boys’ Preparatory School.
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent, part-time (36 weeks per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:50am – 2:10pm (11.67 hours per week)
Salary: £28,645 FTE (actual salary £6,880)
We are seeking a caring and proactive Playground and Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at Surbiton High Boys’ Preparatory School. This is a rewarding role where you will help create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for pupils during their break and lunchtime.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise pupils during lunch and play, encouraging healthy eating and good table manners.
Support younger children with opening packaging and cutting food.
Lead fun and engaging playground games to ensure every child feels included.
Monitor safety and wellbeing, responding promptly to accidents or illness.
Maintain a clean and tidy dining and play area.
Work closely with staff to support pupils’ pastoral needs.
