A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced, kind and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our exceptional Learning Support Team working in a school with children aged 2 to 11 years.
A little bit about us
We are a small independent school in Windsor. The school has been running since 1936. We value each and every member of our staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked with the school for many years.
Responsibilities
To support and teach children throughout the school from Reception to Year 6 with special educational needs, using multi-sensory strategies. The successful candidate will work with small groups of children and also given one-to-one support, helping to provide them with additional reinforcement activities in the classroom that compliment their lessons and fill in knowledge gaps and learning.
The Learning Support Assistant will be involved with interventions such as play therapies and supporting EAL students, and must be able to adapt their strategies to suit pupils between the ages of 4 and 11.
Our Learning Support Team has a real passion to help children that need their help and support which inspires both pupils and teachers alike throughout the school. They work together with classroom and subject teachers to make sure that everyone has the best resources to support the children in their class.
The successful candidate should share this passion and be committed to supporting all learners to thrive.
