Salary: £20,000-£22,000 dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time, All Year Round
Hours of Work: 1pm - 6pm 25 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled, practical and motivated Site Assistant to join our outstanding Site team working in a school with children aged 2 to 11 years.
A little bit about us
We are a small independent school in Windsor. The school has been running since 1936. We value each and every member of our staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked with the school for many years.
Responsibilities
To carry out the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds to a good standard making sure they are clean and secure. Liaise with the onsite cleaning staff alongside the Premises Manager and be responsible for routine checks to the school minibus’s and for driving pupils as required.
Building maintenance includes, but limited to, small carpentry jobs, painting and decorating, basic plumbing, limited electrical, maintenance of locks and heating systems and gardening.
As part of keeping the school secure the Site Assistant will man the school gate at school pick up times throughout the afternoon, to help make sure all our children are kept safe.
You will need to be flexible, take pride in your work and be able to work with all members of the school community. Basic computer skills and an understanding of health and safety are required.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a similar position and must hold a valid driving licence. Some out of hours and weekend work will be required.
