We are seeking to appoint a mini bus driver on a casual basis. This role requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers.

The role of a mini bus driver is to :

• adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times
• ensure the safety and security of all passengers during transit
• conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
• follow all traffic laws and school bus policies
• communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as needed
• handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will

• hold a valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• be familiar with the local area
• be patient and have a friendly demeanour when interacting with students
• have the ability to assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as required
• understand the role in the context of safeguarding children and young people.

This is a casual position based at the main site of The Kingsley School, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
