We are seeking to appoint a School Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care to students, staff and visitors, with opportunities for flexible or job-share working arrangements within a busy and supportive school medical centre.
Permanent, Term Time Contract
Salary: Point 25-29 on the John Whitgift Foundation Support Staff Salary Scale. The full-time salary will be between £40,397 gross pay per annum (at Point 25) to £45,512 gross pay per annum (at Point 29) depending on qualifications and relevant experience. The Pro-rata salary range for this post will be £32,318 gross pay per annum to £36,409 gross pay per annum to reflect Term Time and 0.8 FTE contract.
We are open to considering flexible working arrangements, including job-share applications. Where successful applicants are appointed, then nurses who fulfil the role will be required to share regular hand over time between job-share partners to ensure coordination, planning and communication requirements are met. Saturday fixture cover may also be required.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Centre, providing high-quality clinical care to students, staff and visitors. Working as part of a dedicated team, the successful candidate will deliver first aid, emergency care and treatment for minor illness and injury, whilst supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of pupils and ensuring the safe and effective operation of the Medical Centre.
The role requires a confident healthcare professional who can work both independently and collaboratively, undertaking clinical assessments, managing medical conditions, maintaining accurate and confidential health records, administering medication and liaising effectively with parents, staff and external healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will also play an important role in health promotion, safeguarding, student welfare and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential through a coordinated approach to care.
