Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Students Coordinator to join our team. This is a key administrative role focused on ensuring the ongoing compliance, welfare, and safeguarding of our international student body.

Detail

The Role

Reporting to the Safeguarding Lead, you will manage the administrative responsibilities for international students from the point of enrolment onward. This involves acting as the primary point of contact for visa monitoring and ensuring all requirements are met in line with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations and school safeguarding policies.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Visa and Compliance Management: Taking over responsibility for student compliance, maintaining accurate visa records, and reporting changes in student status.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Working with Admissions, Boarding, and Pastoral Care to ensure a seamless flow of information and continuity of care for students.
  • Safeguarding Support: Monitoring key safeguarding elements specific to international students and supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing documents and data reports for internal audits and UKVI inspections.

About You

We are looking for a highly administrative professional with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of compliance. You should be discreet, professional, and sensitive to the needs of international students and their families.

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • Administrative Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or compliance setting, preferably within an educational environment.
  • Data Management: Excellent attention to detail and data management skills.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: A discreet, professional, and sensitive approach to student and family needs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong understanding of UKVI student visa regulations.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures in a school environment.


What We Offer

  • Start Date: ASAP (before 1st September).
  • Working Hours: Part-time (25-30 hours per week), 52 weeks a year.
  • Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (FTE) per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
