Why Woodford Green Preparatory School?

Woodford Green Preparatory School is a thriving independent school for children aged 3–11. We place strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, clear expectations and supportive relationships. Our approach to inclusion is structured, collaborative and embedded within everyday classroom practice, ensuring pupils are supported consistently and appropriately across the school.

About the role

The Inclusion Lead supports pupils’ learning and progress through targeted teaching for individuals and small groups, closely aligned with classroom learning. The role includes contributing to assessment and monitoring, supporting the development and review of individual support plans and evaluating the impact of interventions.

Working alongside class teachers, you will support adaptive teaching strategies and help remove barriers to learning. The role also involves working with parents and, where appropriate, external professionals and contributing to smooth transition and continuity of provision between year groups.

About you

You will be a qualified teacher with experience of supporting pupils across the primary age range. You will have a secure understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching and be able to plan and deliver focused support that promotes pupil progress and engagement.

You will be organised, reflective and confident working collaboratively within a team.
